This is part three of a four-part installment about local educator and city alderman Bart Williams' recent 4000-mile journey to Moscow via the Trans-Siberian Railway. Prior to his Russian journey, Williams took part in 12-day trip to Mongolia, which was previously chronicled in the State Gazette. That trip was part of a continuing graduate-studies program offered by Miami University and the Cincinnati Zoo.

Lake County Drug Strike Team arrests 3 on meth-related charges

On Saturday, Jan. 7, officers with the Lake County Drug Strike Team arrested two suspects after locating an active methamphetamine lab inside a residence during the execution of a search warrant. The search warrant was served at 85 Clubhouse Lane in northern Lake County. Officers entered the house and found the alleged meth lab. As a result, two suspects were then taken into custody...
