Postal service announces mail-processing centers to be closed

After more than five months of study, the United States Postal Service announced last Thursday the closure of 223 mail-processing centers including three in Tennessee. Despite the announcement the mail-processing centers won't be closing just yet. The postal service agreed in December to a self-imposed moratorium on any closures until May 15, 2012 in order to give Congress the opportunity to create an alternative plan. ...
