Mrs. Virginia Smith Baggett, 75, of Dyersburg, formerly of Ridgely, died Tuesday, March 20, 2012 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. She was a member of the Church of Christ. Funeral services for Mrs. Baggett will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 23, 2012 at the Wynnburg Baptist Church conducted by Reverend Larry Byassee. Interment will follow in New Haven Cemetery. After only a few months of being retired, Thomas realized that she couldn't "just sit and do nothing". Unemployment claimants now required to provide proof of work searches
