Prentiss Johnson, 84, of the Bogota Community, died Thursday, April 19, 2012 at his residence. He was a member of Broadmoor Church of Christ, and a World War II Veteran where he served in France and Germany as a platoon sergeant. Mr. Johnson served on the Board of Directors at Forked Deer Electric from 1969 until present and served 12 years on the ASC community committee. He was a retired farmer and rural mail carrier...

Dyersburg native to donate portion of book sales to Relay for Life

Business coach and author Tim Enochs, a native of Dyersburg, has written three books: "Every Day is Game Day", "The CHILD Game Plan" (with Bruce Tollner), and "The Street Sweeper". His third book, "The Street Sweeper", has just been made into a movie, which is planned for release in early November.
