DCHS to host Nashville-style music night to benefit Permenter

The E911 Board meeting for the month of April was canceled on Tuesday evening due to a lack of quorum. Members in attendance were Dyersburg Police Chief Arthur Heun and Retired Dyersburg Police Chief Bobby Williamson. Confederate statue to be dedicated this Saturday

This Saturday, the Sons of Confederate Veterans invite residents throughout the region to take a step back into history with the dedication of a statue of a confederate soldier at the Parks Cemetery Ridge Confederate Memorial Plaza in Trimble. Residents ask county to close road

The Dyer County Road Committee met on Monday, April 16 to listen to concerns presented by residents living on Nauvoo School Road. The Dyer County Commissioners on the committee, which include Larry Maupin, Kyle Reynolds, Steve Moore, David Agee and Jimmy Hester were asked to consider recommending the closure of the road due to safety concerns and the road being used as a through way for Lakewood and Lenox-Nauvoo Road residents who were trying to get to Millsfield and Fifth Consolidated Elementary.. ...

Suspect charged with felony after allegedly killing dog

Dyersburg Police recently arrested a man for felony aggravated cruelty to an animal after investigating the death of his roommate's dog. According to police, officers were called to the 1600 block of Shelby Drive on April 13, in reference to a woman reporting that her roommate killed her Chihuahua. The complainant reported that she left her residence to go to work and was later called by her roommate and informed her dog was dead...

Huffman fundraiser April 28
