Budget committee reallocates revenue away from education

In a surprising turn of events, the Dyer County Budget Committee unanimously approved to reallocate 6 cents from property tax revenue currently designated for education into the debt service fund. In addition, 3 cents from the school transportation fund will also be reallocated into debt services.
