Elaine C. Penney, 68, of Dyersburg, died Tuesday at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center. A memorial service will be held at a later date in South Padre Island, Texas. Johnson-Williams Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.

Fitness Tip: Single-arm dumbbell row

Target Body Part: Back Primary Muscles: Latissimus Dorsi (Lats), Rhomboids Secondary Muscles: Trapezius (Traps), Erector Spinae, Rotator Cuff, Posterior Deltoids (Delts), Biceps, and Oblique Equipment Needed: Dumbbells and bench Directions: Left knee and left arm is on the bench. Right foot is on the floor and my right arm is in alignment with my shoulder. Back is parallel to the floor. Head is aligned with spine. Do not allow your spine to arch. Exhale and slowly pull the dumbbell toward your side body. Keep your arm close to the side of your body as you bend your elbow and pull the dumbbell up. Inhale and gently lower the dumbbell to your starting position. Keep the back straight and strong and the abdominals engaged. Repeat 10-12 repetitions on each side. ACT scores show DHS Class of 2013 is way ahead of state average
