The long-beard duo of Willie (Dr. Troy Kerber) and Si (Elizabeth Dickerson) took control of the Chimes for Charity auction on Thursday evening as they brought in the highest bidders and made a lot a lot of children 'happy, happy, happy.' Dyersburg Dental Associates (Horner, Hawkins, and Kerber) was the sponsor of Thursday night's show.

DPD investigating burglary of local pharmacy

Dyersburg Police are investigating an early morning burglary of a local pharmacy where hundreds of hydrocodone pills were stolen. According to Dyersburg Asst. Chief of Police Steve Isbell, on Saturday, Nov. 9, at approximately 2:52 a.m., police responded to an alarm at C&C Pharmacy, located at 2490 Parr Ave. in Dyersburg. Officers arrived and discovered that entry had been gained into the building. A store employee arrived and determined that nearly a dozen bottles containing hundreds of hydrocodone pills were missing from the pharmacy. Hydrocodone is commonly prescribed by doctors as a painkiller.
