Newbern man arrested for manufacture of marijuana

A Newbern man was arrested early Tuesday and charged with the manufacture of a Schedule VI (marijuana) controlled substance after the Newbern Police Department received a tip of pot plants being grown in an area adjacent to South Grayson Street. City Schools earn Exemplary Status

Director of Schools Neel Durbin provided educators in the Dyersburg City School System with a reason to celebrate at the system's annual Back-to-School luncheon on Monday, July 28.
