The Dyer County Choctaws made quick work of the Madison Academic Mustangs Monday night in straight sets. The Choctaws defeated the Mustangs 25-10, 25-22, 25-16 for the three-set victory. Dyersburg's Rausch punches ticket to third state tourney

Woodland Hills Country Club was no match for Dyersburg's Erin Rausch on Monday, as she finished fourth in the regional tournament. The impressive performance will send the 16-year-old to the state tournament for the third consecutive year. Amtrak to give away 2 free tickets at Newbern Depot Days Saturday

Two free Amtrak tickets will be given away in a drawing at Newbern's Depot Days, on Saturday, Sept. 20, at 12:30 p.m. The winner will be able to choose to ride coach to either Chicago or New Orleans.
