Matthew 25:40 hosts costume contest

Matthew 25:40 held its annual Halloween costume contest at the Dyersburg Mall on Halloween night for the ages of zero to 12 years old. There were 101 entries into the contest with all proceeds of the night going to Matthew 25:40. The winners were given trophies and Applebee's dinner certificates.

DPD Special Response Team serves warrant, seizes drugs

On Wednesday, Oct. 29, the Dyersburg Police Department Special Response Team served a search warrant at 707 Cherry St. in Dyersburg. Upon entry into the residence, officers located two adults and one juvenile that were detained while a search was made for further persons. The juvenile's mother was contacted and arrived to take custody of the child. A sizeable amount of drugs were seized along with currency and numerous other items of value for possible seizure pending further investigation...

Bethel to host information session at McIver's Grant
