Dianne Norris Donner, 66, of the RoEllen Community, died Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at her residence. She was born March 7, 1949 to the late George Bitner "Sonny" and Emma Jean Ashley Norris. 19 Dyersburg Middle students earn academic honors from Duke TIP

Duke University has recognized 19 Dyersburg Middle School seventh-grade students for being among the most academically talented middle school students across the country. The 19 have been recognized for their exceptional scores on the ACT by the Duke University Talent Identification Program's (Duke TIP) seventh-grade talent search. Library opens late Friday due to memorial service

McIver's Grant Public Library will close Friday, April 17 for a memorial service honoring Dianne Donner. The library will only be open to patrons from 2-5 p.m. on that day.

Tickets still available to see Grand Ole Opry star Snider in concert Saturday

Grand Ole Opry star Mike Snider will perform in the Family Living Center at the Dyer County Fairgrounds this Saturday, April 18 in a fundraiser to benefit McIver's Grant Public Library. Tickets, $30 each, are still available at the library and may also be purchased at the door on the evening of the event. Tickets include a barbecue supper at 5 p.m., followed by the concert at 6:30 p.m. A silent auction is also planned.
