On Friday, April 8, the Dyersburg/Dyer County Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony for Hometown Urgent Care in their new office located at 2550 Parr Avenue in Dyersburg. Shooting investigation leads to pair of arrests

Two Dyersburg men, Steven Cogdell and Christopher Lee, have been arrested after an investigation into a shooting that occurred in the city on April 4. Cogdell, 29, 2020 Bruceville Slab Road, was being treated for a single gunshot wound to the leg at Tennova before responding officers arrived to investigate the shooting.
