Trojans fall to Chester County in 7AA semis

The Dyersburg High School baseball season came to a close on Monday afternoon in Henderson as, despite being held hitless, the Trojans scored two in the top of the sixth only to see Chester County return with three in the bottom of the frame on the way to a 3-2 win in the semifinals of the Region 7AA Tournament.

Lady Trojan defense holds on for win in 7AA semis

With a spot in Wednesday's Region 7AA title game and a substate berth later in the week, the Lady Trojans got an early lead then relied on their defense as the Dyersburg fielders made sure the Black and Gold's three runs in the first two frames were enough as the Lady Trojans took a 3-1 win over South Side in the 7AA semifinals on a misty Monday evening at Doug French Field.
