DSCC to host orientation for new students including adult learners

Dyersburg Fire Department responded to a call at 522 Reynolds Ave. at approximately 8:35 a.m. on Monday, July 11. Smoke was visible from outside the single-family rental property. Fortunately, the family members who were at home during the fire were able to make it out safely.

House fire claims the lives of two small children

Minecraft Camp back by popular demand

Dyersburg State Community College recently held Minecraft Camps for kids entering grades 1 through 9 on June 13-17 at the Dyersburg campus. Trimble board seeks out new legal representation, OKs purchase of new equipment

The Trimble Board of Mayor and Aldermen convened late Monday evening to discuss items on the agenda including the purchase of new equipment for Trimble City Hall and options for a new town attorney. According to Trimble Mayor Jon McFarland, the town will now be seeking new legal representation as its current attorney, Julie Palmer, has recently resigned. According to Mayor McFarland, Palmer is now tackling a far heavier workload at her law firm, and will no longer have the time to represent the municipality.
