Cash Express, Highlands provide goody bags for Fun Run

On Monday, Sept. 19, residents of The Highlands in Dyersburg began filling goody bags for the Super Jude Family Fun run set for Oct. 8 in Dyersburg. Cash Express of Dyersburg donated cups, pens, and post-it pads, and Highland residents will fill bags with these items as part of a community project.

Junior Auxiliary to host 'Unplugged' event at Okeena Park

The National Association of Junior Auxiliary of Dyer County, a non-profit organization that encourages members to render charitable services to the public, will be hosting an 'Unplugged' event on Tuesday, Sept. 27, at the Okeena Park Pavilion from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. Members of the community are encouraged to come out for an evening of free popcorn, drinks, music, games, face painting and more.
