Events & More ribbon cutting and open house

On Thursday, Oct. 6 the Dyersburg/Dyer County Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony at the open house for The Bridge Events and More. Owner Cynthia Cole-Pearson was joined by friends and family, Dyer County Mayor Chris Young, Dyersburg Mayor John Holden, Chamber President and CEO, Allen Hester, and a group of Chamber diplomats for the ceremony. Mayor Young presented her with a Certificate of Recognition from the Chamber for her new business in Dyersburg and the opening of her new location, The Bridge. The Bridge Events and More is Dyersburg's newest venue and event-planning service located at 1979 St. John Street in Suite D behind Bad Bob's BBQ. Their services include catering, event supply rentals, event planning, pick-up and delivery, and setup and breakdown. They also offer venue space available to rent for up to 150 guests. Some of their rentals include elegant linen tablecloths, chair covers, silverware, dinnerware, and décor. Their staff, which includes a bartender, cake designer, D.J., clergy, photographer, and designer, is fully equipped to handle any type of event.
