Wreck on Hwy. 51 Bypass leaves Dyer County man in critical condition

Early Monday morning, at approximately 5:48, a 2013 Ford Construction Kenworth truck driven by 54-year-old Halls resident Bobby Ward was traveling Northbound on Hwy. 51 Bypass when colliding with a 2012 Nissan Pathfinder driven by 70-year-old Rodney Henry. According to Dyersburg Police Department, Henry sustained severe injuries, and was rushed by ambulance to Tennova Healthcare. Ward is currently being treated for minor injuries at Tennova Healthcare. Henry was later transported to The Med-Memphis for further treatment.

DSCC Lady Eagles escape with win at Shawnee

Wright named new mayor of Newbern
