Mall to host all-ages bingo Aug. 8

The Dyersburg Mall will host its monthly All Ages Bingo event on Tuesday, Aug. 8 from 10 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. The event will occur at the mall’s center court and is free for all attendees. TDEC offering $4.5M in recycling and waste-reduction grants

NASHVILLE – The Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation (TDEC) is now accepting applications for recycling and waste reduction grants totaling $4,500,000. “Since 2015, TDEC has had a renewed focus on supporting local communities in a broader goal to reduce waste across the state while increasing recycling rates,” said TDEC Commissioner Bob Martineau. “These grants aim to involve the public in targeted ways to reduce dependence on landfills in their own neighborhoods.”...

Dyer County Leadership paves way for downtown dog park

Members of Dyersburg/ Dyer County Leadership who have taken on the task of creating a local downtown dog park as their community project will be hosting a silent auction fundraiser today through Friday, July 28, with winners announced Saturday, June 29, at 3 p.m. during the Dyersburg BBQ Festival at the Dyer County Fairgrounds.
