These mamas cannot be adopted until their babies are weaned, and the babies need to be old enough, about 8 weeks, to survive on their own...

Friday storm downs power lines, tree limbs

Shortly before noon Friday, a strong thunderstorm passed through Dyersburg and western Dyer County. The National Weather Service in Memphis issued a weather advisory for Dyer County at 11:42 a.m., which ran until 12:15 p.m. According to NWS-Memphis, the storm produced winds up to 40 miles per hour. Sudden high water crept over various roadways, such as Lake Road, where drivers had to use extra caution to navigate. By 1 p.m., the storm had pushed out of the area; however, it left downed power lines and tree limbs in its wake.
