Dyersburg Dog Park receives $25,000 through Tennessee Dog Park Dash grant

On Saturday, July 7, members of the Dyersburg Dog Park committee, as well as city and county officials, met with Republican gubernatorial candidate and PetSafe owner Randy Boyd, who presented a check for $25,000 which will now be used to fund exercise equipment, shade canopies and other upgrades for the Dyersburg Dog Park.

Dyer County Little Levee, Corps of Engineers mark completion of repairs

On Monday, July 9, at 9:30 a.m. county officials of Dyer and Halls, as well as state officials and local farmers met with members of the Corps of Engineers and West Tennessee River Basin Authority for a ribbon-cutting ceremony marking the completion of repairs to the Dyer County Little Levee caused by the floods of 2011 and 2015-16.
