Local candidate petition list released for Nov. election

The deadline for candidates vying for mayor and aldermen positions for the cities of Dyersburg and Newbern occurred Thursday at noon. Petitions were turned in to the Dyer County Election Commission for the November election. The local ballot consists of City of Dyersburg Mayor, City of Dyersburg Aldermen (3 at large and all wards), and Town of Newbern Aldermen (3 positions)...
