Northview STEM students showcase program through presentation

On Wednesday afternoon, Northview Middle School STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) students showcased what they had learned over the course of the previous school year. The students, along with STEM program instructor Mike French, welcomed approximately 20 visitors from various businesses and industries in Dyer County as well as administration from the Dyer County School System and State Rep. Bill Sanderson. One by one each student spoke to the group and explained the multiple projects conducted by the class.

Trojan defense stops Brighton, Dyersburg rolls

Coming out of an opener which saw very little challenge for the Trojans, Dyersburg showed it could pass a tougher test on Friday night in Brighton as the defense led the way with a quartet of turnovers including a trio of interceptions on the way to a 42-7 win over the Cardinals.
