DSCC’s annual alumni dinner and silent auction slated for Sept. 11

Dyersburg State Community College will host its Annual Alumni Dinner and Silent Auction Tuesday, Sept. 11, at 6 p.m. DSCC alumni and their guests are invited to enjoy a catered dinner on the Student Center Terrace at the Dyersburg campus with special entertainment and a silent auction to benefit the DSCC Alumni Association Scholarship Fund. Dyersburg Street Committee begins paving discussion

Two transported to hospital following Hwy 78 accident

Shortly after 11 a.m., the Tennessee Highway Patrol responded to a 2-vehicle accident on Highway 78, near the Nauvoo School Road intersection, just north of Dyersburg. The vehicles involved in the crash included a dump truck driven by William O’Neal, 38, of Unionville and a white Ford SUV driven by Harold Rhodes, 87, of Lake County.
