Dyersburg falls in hard-fought battle to Lady Cavaliers

The Lady Trojans got off to a strong start on Monday at home against Crockett County, but struggles late in the first set carried over into the following sets and though Dyersburg rallied to make it a five-set match, the Lady Cavaliers came away with the win following a strong fifth set at DHS.

Despite weather, Boss Hoss Rally celebrates successful homecoming

After spending the previous 11 years in Paris, Tenn., the Boss Hoss National Rally and Mid-South Motorcycle Festival returned to the organization’s home of Dyersburg for their 19th annual event. Though rain plagued the area Friday and Saturday, the weather didn’t seem to dampen the spirits of attendees, according to Boss Hoss Cycles staff.

DPD arrests man in connection to burglaries, continues to seek second suspect

Shortly before 1:30 a.m. on Monday, September 24, Dyersburg Police received an alarm call to City Pawn, located at 1813 Forrest Street. Officers arrived and talked to witnesses who reportedly observed two male suspects running out of the front door of the business shortly before the arrival of officers.
