Martin Luther "Luke" Carnell passed away on Monday October 1, 2018 at West Tennessee Healthcare Dyersburg Regional Medical Center. Survivors include his daughter Carol Carnell Higgins (Terry), two sons Daryl Carnell (Laura) and Gerald Carnell. The Lady Trojans will have a chance to continue their string of postseason district titles later this week as Dyersburg claimed its semifinal match over Milan on Tuesday during the District 14AA Tournament at Crockett County. Dyersburg Hospital to expand partnership with Imagination Library Program

Governor’s Books from Birth Foundation (GBBF), local affiliate Dyer County Imagination Library and West Tennessee Healthcare Foundation expanded the Imagination Library (IL) enrollment partnership at Dyersburg Hospital Monday afternoon, Oct. 1. DSCC alums speak during board of regents convening, Karlgaard honored

On Friday, Sept. 28, Dyersburg State Community College played host to the Tennessee Board of Regents as they continued their quarterly meeting inside the First Citizens National Bank Auditorium on the DSCC main campus. Prior to the official beginning of the TBR meeting, DSCC President Dr. Karen Bowyer welcomed those in attendance and introduced guest speakers, DSCC graduates Danny Walden and Jeff Agee.
