Shadow Halls opens doors on Friday

Are you ready for a scare? Starting this Friday, Oct. 5, from 6- 11 p.m., Shadow Halls, a 1-hour-long tour of terror, will be open at the Bogota Community Center. An event 6-months in the making, the event will be held each Friday and Saturday night in October, as well as Halloween and Hallows Eve.

Dyer County Prayer Walk begins

Wednesday morning on the south side of the Dyer County Courthouse, the inaugural Dyer County Prayer Walk, held by First Christian Church (FCC), officially began. Nearly 50 community leaders and residents gathered together with participants at 7:30 a.m. to begin the walk with a prayer service.
