2017-18 audit presented before Dyersburg Board

On Monday, March 18, the City of Dyersburg Board of Mayor and Alderpersons convened at 7 p.m. inside the Municipal Building courtroom for their regularly scheduled meeting. All members of the board were present with the exception of Alderman Dennis Moody. With many items of new business, the agenda began with a review of the 2017-2018 Dyersburg audit.

The number of animals ready for adoption at the Shelter is at 69. The Shelter is currently packed with great pets looking for homes. Several dogs are in temporary cages and some small breed dogs are in cat cages. The Shelter cannot receive any more cats until some of the current residents are rescued. Household Hazardous Waste collection set April 27
