DSCC honors nursing classes with pinning ceremony

On May 4, Dyersburg State Community College honored its 65th and 66th nursing classes with a ceremony for 24 graduates in the Advanced Standing LPN to RN Fast Track program and 29 graduates in the traditional nursing program. Annual spring Special Olympics held at DCHS

Trojans take District 14AA title with penalty kicks

Despite the Trojans taking a early lead into the late first half, South Gibson rallied to tie the game early in the second half as both teams then battled through the rest of regulation as it took multiple overtimes then a shootout to decide the District 14AA Soccer Championship on Thursday night at J.C. Sawyers Stadium as the Trojans won in penalty kicks to win 3-2 over the Hornets for the title.
