Busy week for Dyer County cheerleaders as six sign with colleges

What turned out to be a big week for Dyer County High School’s cheerleading program concluded on Thursday as four members of the DCHS coed cheerleading team signed to continue their career at the college level with the University of Tennessee at Martin.

‘Money Week’ begins at 6 p.m. Monday for DHS, DC

All the work local softball and baseball teams have put in will be put on the line on Monday night at 6 p.m. as the Lady Choctaws and Lady Trojan softball teams, along with Dyersburg’s baseball boys will open the next tier of the TSSAA postseason as they play in Region 7 semifinals in elimination action.

First Citizens National Bank announces officer promotions

Dogwood festival raises over $11,000 for local charities

The 2019 Dogwood Dash and Pedals and Blooms Bike Ride events held in April collectively raised over $11,000. Both the YMCA of Dyer County (left) and the Mission Blitz/Matthew 25:40 (right) each received $5,800 in donations. Checks were presented to each organization by Dogwood Chairwoman Sara Jo Fountain.
