Lewis takes over reins of Dyersburg volleyball program

For the first time in eight seasons, there will be a new face at the head of the Dyersburg Lady Trojan volleyball program as Lexington native Kaci Lewis was recently named the new head coach for the black and gold netters as she takes over for Marilyn Liljenquist, who stepped down earlier this spring.

Joyce Ann Hall Donnell, 81, passed away June 4, 2019 in Bells, TN after years of suffering from Alzheimer’s disease. She was born January 22, 1938 to Grace Leach Hall and Charley Raymond Hall in Tatumville, TN where she grew up. On June 14, 1957, she married the future Dr. James H. Tennessee State Parks hosting service events for Tennessee Promise students

Bond for accused road rage shooter set at $450,000

On Friday, June 7, Roderick Turner, 27, of Dyersburg appeared before Judge Dean Dedmon in Dyersburg City Court on charges of felon in possession of a firearm, 5 counts of aggravated assault, and 5 counts of reckless endangerment. Judge Dedmon set Turner’s bond at $450,000.
