TDH launches ‘Tennessee Faces of the Opioid Crisis’ education, awareness campaign

DCHS hosts trial garden tour

For several years, DCHS Ag advisor Dan Smith has invited the community to visit the DCHS gardens to tour and discuss the wide variety of plants available through the Dyer County High School annual plant sale. FFA students and Dyer County Master Gardeners volunteered from 7 a.m. until 11 a.m. selling T-shirts, distributing free water and donuts, and guiding visitors through the gardens answering questions about the plant varieties placed strategically on the northern side of the DCHS campus...

Gov. Lee, officials meet in Dyersburg with area farmers to discuss floodwaters

The number of animals ready for adoption at the Shelter is 74. The Shelter staff breathed a sigh of relief with the drop in the number of animals. Seventy-four is 22 less than last week. Unfortunately, an outbreak of parvo took the lives of a few puppies. ...
