Power Board reappoints members to audit committee

On Friday, August 23, the Dyersburg Electric System Power Board convened for their regular monthly meeting. All members of the board, along with the DES Executive Management Team, were in attendance. DES President and CEO Stephen Lane presented 2 items of new business before the board – the appointment of 3 members to the organization’s audit committee and a bad-debt charge-off.

Relay for Life cookout raises over $1,200

On Friday, August 23, the Dyer County Relay for Life Leadership Team raised over $1,200 for Dyer County Relay for Life during a hamburger cookout, which occurred at the old Dyer County Jail.
