Mayor Young meets with task force, announces plan for mask requirement

On Thursday morning at the Dyersburg/Dyer County Chamber of Commerce, Dyer County Mayor Chris Young met with a healthcare task force — made up of numerous community leaders — to discuss several things regarding the COVID-19 pandemic. While there was plenty of discussion among those in attendance regarding the wearing of masks, Young informed the group early into the meeting of his decision to mandate a requirement for wearing masks.
