Michael Dunavant announced today that his office, in coordination with the Memphis Field Division Office of the FBI, will investigate and charge any potential violations of federal law at the United States Capitol Building on Jan. 6, 2021 committed by individuals from the Western District of Tennessee.

Dyer County COVID-19 update for January 8

With the release of the Tennessee Department of Health’s (TDH) daily COVID-19 update on Friday, the department reported Dyer County as having a total of 4,506 COVID-19 cases, which consist of confirmed and probable cases. Additionally, the TDH said that Dyer County had 392 active cases with 4,035 recoveries/inactive cases.

Dyersburg Mall owner signs lease agreement with Ollie’s Bargain Outlet

Earlier this week, Action Properties, LLC, owner of the Dyersburg Mall and headquartered in Yazoo City, Mississippi, announced the company had fully executed a lease with Ollie’s Bargain Outlet. Ollie’s, billed as one of America’s largest retailers of closeout merchandise and excess inventory, is scheduled to move into the space formerly occupied by J.C. Penney.
