West Tennessee Drug Task Force serves second search warrant on same home in 40 days

Dyersburg, Tenn. – The West Tennessee Drug Task Force, operating out of the 29th Judicial District, served a second search warrant within 40 days at a home on Unionville Road resulting in the seizure of more drugs and two arrests.

Dyersburg named recipient of TNECD site development grant

Tennessee Gov. Bill Lee and Department of Economic and Community Development Commissioner Bob Rolfe announced on June 24 fifteen new site development grants, totaling more than $4.6 million were awarded. Of those selected, the City of Dyersburg is slated to receive $439,110 for the Commerce Park Interstate Site.

Our rescue groups, especially Paws2Care, have done an excellent job relieving Shelter overload, but there are still 32 deserving animals waiting to be adopted. Please help by considering adoption. There are several adult and senior dogs who need love and comfort. Our goal is to have no adoptable pet left at the Shelter.
