DPD searching for man accused of attempted rape, indecent exposure

The Dyersburg Police Department is investigating a reported attempted rape of a woman on August 15 and an indecent exposure on September 7, the latter occurring near a school bus stop. According to DPD, the description of the suspect in both cases match. The suspect is identified as a black male, 5’8-5’10, with a skinny build.

First half seals the deal for Choctaws against Trezevant

The Dyer County Choctaws set the tone early for Friday night’s home game against the Memphis Trezevant Bears. A complete turnaround from their previous two losses, Dyer County started the game off with three straight unanswered touchdowns in the first quarter over the visiting Bears and six in the first half leading to a 47-12 win.
