Lady Choctaws advance to TSSAA State Tournament with win over Millington

For the second year in a row, the Dyer County Choctaw Softball team will travel to Murfreesboro to play in the state tournament. The Lady Choctaws had to first beat the Millington Lady Trojans in Millington for the right to keep their season alive. After a slow start, Dyer County put five runs on the board in the top of the fifth inning on their way to 7-1 victory.
