Dyersburg dominates in first round of playoffs

Ending the regular season with three straight wins, the Dyersburg Trojans entered the playoffs on the heels of one of the team’s most dominate and complete games of the season last week against Ripley. The Trojans kept the momentum rolling Friday night as they hosted Raleigh-Egypt in the first round of the TSSAA 3A football playoffs, defeating the visiting Pharaohs 58-12.

Patriots end Choctaw season in Class 5A first round

The Choctaw season came to an end on Friday night in Paris as Henry County scored early and often on the way to a 49-14 win over Dyer County in the opening round of the TSSAA Class 5A Playoffs.
