In a year which saw her grow as an athlete in two sports – one of which saw her thrust into a more important role midway through the season – Dyersburg junior Alli Alford rose to the challenges thrown at her and has been named the State Gazette Female Athlete of the Year for the 2022-23 athletic school year.
