Dyer County falls as Westview pulls away late

Though both teams battled back and forth through the first three quarters of action on Friday night in Newbern, Dyer County was unable to contain the Westview offense late as the Chargers scored a trio of touchdowns in the fourth quarter that proved to be the difference in a 41-19 win over the Choctaws.

Dyersburg defense pounces on Central; moves to 5-0

As the month of September rolls on, the Trojans are looking to keep their win streak rolling as well as Dyersburg hosted the McNairy Central Bobcats at Historic J.C. Sawyers Stadium. After a strong first half, the Trojans went on to win 52-14 after a 45-0 first half.

Walk for Life fundraiser for Lifebeat slated for Sept. 23

A Walk for Life, an event to celebrate life, will be held in Tiptonville, TN, by LifeBeat Family Resource Center. All proceeds will go to support the ministry of LifeBeat and their new mobile clinic, the first of its kind in Obion and Lake counties, which provides women and girls with free ultrasounds and pregnancy tests.
