A large group of volunteers gathered together on Saturday, April 6, at Three Oaks Middle School for the first Keep Dyer County Beautiful trash cleanup event in 2024. The event was hosted in partnership with the Tennessee Delta Alliance and Three Oaks Middle School.

Coming off a frustrating loss the night before at Munford, the Choctaw baseball team ended its week with a win as Dyer County answered a first-inning Ripley run then added on two late to take a 3-1 win over the Tigers on Friday evening. An error lead to the first Ripley run in the bottom of the first. Trojans dominate White Station, 13-1

Dyersburg’s baseball team traveled to Memphis on Friday evening and returned from White Station with a 13-1 win to cap a 4-0 week of non-district action. The Trojans got on the board in the top of the second inning to break the scoreless tie. With two outs in the frame, Will Leonard reached on an error then Makhi Wooldridge drew a walk before Brady Byars was hit by a pitch to load the bases.
