UT Martin to begin layoffs

New weather warning technology needed for Channel One

Dyersburg's public safety communications director believes the city board should consider an investment in new technology for the Channel One cable station that will provide residents more information when severe storms threaten. The technology is called "video crawl," said Mark Grant, and costs between $16,000 and $20,000.
