Hunters rescued after boat nearly capsizes in flooded waterfowl area

Duck hunters were rescued on Tuesday after the boat they were hunting from almost capsized in the flooded Tigrett Wildlife Management area north of Tigrett. J.R. Sentenced to 10 years, convict out in 7 months

Tamario Redmond, the convicted drug dealer arrested Monday on drug possession charges, was sentenced to 10 years in jail in September 2006 on cocaine charges, but was released on probation seven months later. Redmond, 22, of 159 Pease Ave., pleaded guilty to three charges of sale of more than a half-gram of cocaine and was sentenced to serve 10 years in prison and to pay fines totaling $6,000. He was scheduled to be eligible for parole after serving 36 months of the sentence...
