Joni Enochs Brown, 50, of Dyersburg, died Saturday, Nov. 1, 2008 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center. She was a homemaker. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. today at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home with Dr. Bill Oakley officiating. Survivors include her husband, John "Jack" Brown of Dyersburg; two sons, Chad Enochs and wife, Ashley, and Josh Enochs and wife, Rachel, all of Newbern; her parents, Mason "Buddy" and Cherry Combs Blessing of Newbern; and three sisters, Penny Bessent and husband, Mark, of Trimble, Jill Blessing-Cates and husband, Eric, of Newbern, and Selina Dowden and husband, Philip, of Van Buren, Ark.. ...

UTM Steel Drum Band to kick off Community Concert season

The 2008-2009 Community Concert season is about to begin, with its first concert scheduled for Sunday, Nov. 16. The University of Tennessee at Martin's Steel Drum Band will kick off a varied schedule of events for music lovers in the area. Modern Woodmen aids Dyersburg Manor in Make a Difference Day

Residents of Dyersburg Manor were recently reminded that the community cares for them on the 18th annual Make a Difference Day.
