Robert Arnett Poore, 82, of Fulton, Miss., died Monday, June 1, 2009 at Countrywood Plantation in Mantachie, Miss. He was born May 26, 1927, to Robert Aaron and Esther Arnett Poore in Newbern. He was retired territory manager for Whirlpool traveling West Tennessee and north Mississippi, and lived many years in Memphis and Jackson, Tenn., moving to Fulton, Miss., recently. ...

County working to refinance bonds

City moves forward in adopting international building codes
