Woman pleads not guilty to drug charges

A Tiptonville woman pleaded not guilty to drug charges July 20 in Lake County Circuit Court. Janice Clark was indicted July 13 on charges of possessing more than half an ounce of marijuana with intent to sell and possessing drug paraphernalia. She was arrested March 6 after the West Tennessee Drug Task Force, Tiptonville Police and Lake County Sheriff's Department officers searched 1115 Foster St. They confiscated more than 2 ounces of marijuana packaged for resale and a Chevrolet Tahoe...

3 teens involved in one-vehicle accident on Viar Road

A one-vehicle accident involving three teenagers occurred on Viar Road on Sunday afternoon. The wreck happened about one tenth of a mile south of Highway 104 East on Viar Road at approximately 5 p.m. Tennessee Highway Patrol Trooper Brian Avery said two females, ages 16 and 17, and one 16-year-old male were going northbound on Viar Road in a 2004 Buick Rendezvous. ...

DPS invites parents to Thursday's First Day of School Celebration

Students attending Dyersburg Primary School this academic year are invited to bring their parents to the school's annual First Day of School Celebration.
