Two in meth case sentenced to federal prison

Two of three persons accused of conspiring to distribute methamphetamine were sentenced Wednesday in U.S. District Court in Jackson. Shawn Christopher Riley, Carrie Ann Parrish and Derek Lynn Patterson were indicted Nov. 19, 2007. They were accused of conspiring to possess and distribute more than 50 grams of methamphetamine. According to the indictment, they intended to develop an illegal methamphetamine market in Dyer County...

Law enforcement to conduct sobriety checkpoint July 31
