Arun Ghandi is the grandson of the late Mahatma Ghandi (commonly referred to as Ghandi), the pre-eminent political and spiritual leader of India during the Indian independence movement. Mahatma Ghandi was a pioneer in mass civil disobedience against tyranny, believing that acts of violence only provoked a negative reaction.
