Dyersburg Community Orchestra performs spring concert April 30

The Dyersburg Community Orchestra will present its spring concert in the sanctuary of First Baptist Church at 8 p.m., on Monday, April 30. The featured soloist for the performance is local musician and educator Bill Van Sant. Y-Knot/Healthy Kids Day set at fairgrounds May 5

The seventh annual Y-Knot Road Race and Healthy Kids Day will take place at the Dyer County Fairgrounds on Saturday, May 5. YMCA President and CEO Randy Butler recently reported that 130 runners have already registered for the race. "Last year, we had 150 total (runners)," said Butler. DUI suspect arrested on 7 charges after trying to evade authorities

A Dyersburg man is free on an $18,000 bond after allegedly attempting to evade authorities while intoxicated.
